Instead, China’s President President Xi Jinping is touring the Asia Pacific region shoring up partnerships. So Alicia Barry asked former Australian Ambassador to China, Geoff Raby if the US has picked a fight it can’t win. He said as Washington and Beijing battle it out both have a lot to lose. Mr Raby is an economist, who’s written a book on the topic.
